The Greenwood Mapping team has a rich background in GIS, land records, database design, software development and understanding of county government departments and inner workings.
Richard Greenwood founded Greenwood Mapping, Inc. in 1994. Richard is a Licensed Professional Surveyor specializing in Geographic Information Systems. After more than a decade of surveying, he became an active member of the Open Source geo-spatial software community. Richard is not only an expert with web-based GIS but is also a wizard at integrating data from a wide variety of sources. His last 18 years of building solutions for county government has added to his already unique combination of surveying, land record and GIS knowledge. Richard served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Professional Land Surveyors of Wyoming and is currently a member Wyoming GIS Technical Advisory Group.
Carol Peck is a software developer with over 30 years of programming and software development experience. She started her programming career at DePaul University in Chicago where she completed a post graduate program for computer programming. Carol spent 15 years working for an accounting software company as a developer and project manager. She then transitioned to web-based programming, working as a contractor for both private and public organizations in a variety of capacities. She joined Greenwood Mapping in 2005 and continues to marvel at the depth and strength of the open source community.
We believe that integrating data from multiple sources and providing intuitive interfaces to easily access that information creates a valuable resource for our clients. For county governments this translates to a more efficient government for citizens and staff.
We strive to provide the highest level of customer service. We help make our client's work easier and more productive.
